Patchwork attempts to understand how the supposed removal of graffiti is in fact its own way of promoting the acts of graffiti, by creating a working canvas that can be interpreted in its own form of vandalism. The concept of patching stems from an idea of redaction and censorship, where a larger body works to get rid of information that is not wanted to be shown. This is in constant motion around our cities, with patches becoming just as relevant as the graffiti they aim to remove.
